Spaghetti with Meatballs
Minced Meat - 250 gms
Tomato puree - 3/4 cup
Tomatoes (blanched and chopped) - 3 no
Chopped Onion - 1 no
Egg - 1 no
Few cloves of garlic
1.To make the meat balls: To about 250 gm of minced meat, add few cloves of chopped garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce and whisked egg; gently mix them and add some bread crumbs and keep them aside.
2.In a pan, take about 2 tsp of olive oil, add about ¼ tsp of mixed herbs and cooked spaghetti (oil helps to loosen the spaghetti). Transfer spaghetti to a bowl.
3.To make the sauce: Add about 2 to 3 tsp of olive oil, add the chopped onions and chopped garlic; after sauteing for some time add, blanched tomatoes, dried oregano, pepper, salt, paprika powder, tomato puree, ½ cup water and 1 tsp of sugar. Let the sauce simmer.
4.Shallow fry medium sized meat balls (to light brown color). Once they are fried put them into the sauce. Add some fresh basil to the sauce to give it the flavor.
5.Take some spaghetti and roll it up, place it in a bowl, place the meat balls and sauce on the spaghetti.
