Boys convince girls to join school in Indian Education Campaign
It is quite common for boys to campaign for girls' education in most parts of the world, but the latest reports state that in the state of Rajasthan, boys are at the heart of an initiative to get more girls enrolled into schools.
Educate Girls train young individuals to go into villages and find girls that aren't in the classroom in India where over three million girls are not in school.
Around 60 per cent of Educate Girls' volunteers are boys, says the founder and executive Safeena Husain. This is indeed a great gesture from the boys and let us wish it becomes a huge success. |
