Experts ask teachers to take initiatives to increase enrollment ratio

Child rights workers and education experts have lamented the lack of any educational reforms in the schools run by the government in the country.

And they have also highlighted that encouraging privatization of schools has resulted in closure of a lot of government schools.

Talking in Trichy at Forum for Child Friendly Schools Saturday, the members from Institute of School Education & United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) reportedly asked the teachers' unions to put their focus on developing child-friendly schools and said that it would in turn increase enrollment ratio.
