India achieves on education front

Even after making important achievements in last fifteen years, adult literacy rate could not be brought down in India so far.

The union Human Resource Development minister Smriti Irani is about release the Global Education report drafted by the UNESCO on Thursday.

There are few astonishing details in the report which included pre primary education enrolment ratio which was 19 per cent in 1999 and has elevated to 58 per cent in 2012.

There is an equal ratio of boys and girls enrollment this year in both primary as well as secondary education. It makes India to be the only nation in the South and West Asia to have such equality.
