Patna HC reacts to cheating scandal

On Tuesday, the Patna high court has directed the state government to impose stringent measures that would prevent the use of any unfair means in examinations.

According to the reports, a division bench which comprised of Justice Vikash Jain and Chief Justice L Narasimha Reddy had asked the state government to issue notices to the vice-chancellors of all the universities in Bihar.

They have asked them to take every possible measure to conduct fair examinations. The court said that if any official is found encouraging such illegal activity, his conduct would be treated as misconduct.
