Jayalalitha Sandalwood Movie Review
Story:
Jayaraj (sharan) is a criminal who escapes from a cop Raghava (sayaji) and he changes himself as a lady called Jaya (sharan again). He acts as a wife to Yogi (harish) on the agreement that Yogi will get property from his uncle post marriage. Yogi is already in love with Lalitha (aishwarya). Meanwhile, Yogi’s friend Lakshmikanth (ravishankara) an advocate falls in love with Jaya. To add to it, even Raghava sees Jaya and falls in love with her. What happens from there forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a hilarious storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative got complicated. The dialogues were well written. The script was above average but the screenplay was not streamlined. The background score was good but songs were weak. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was apt. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was appealing. The film belongs to Sharan who carried out his role with good expertise, Aishwarya Devan and Disha Pandey offered the required glamour, Ravishankara Gowda was superb, Sayaji was standard, Nagabharana was natural.

Conclusion:
The film is the remake of the Malayalam superhit Mayamohini and it must be said that the director has just lifted and shifted it here. The first half goes about with the different twists including the elements of romance and comedy, the interval bang was interesting. The second half takes off well but in between the scenes got confusing and somewhat stretched taking away the momentum. Some smart handling was required here. Still, the film has moments where it entertains the audience. At the box office, it could get into profit zones if the word of mouth publicity gets strong.
