Tamaar Padaar Malluwood Movie Review
Story:
Jumper Thambi (baburaj) and Tubelight Mani (chemban vinod) are circus performers who do different stunts to make ends meet. But one stunt they try in front of the state secretariat fails and they end up in jail. To add to the woes, they are mistaken as terrorists. In comes ACP Pouran (prithvi) who is eager to prove his honesty and set an example. He decides to take up the case of these two and what happens from there forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a potential storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was a letdown. The dialogues were alright. The script was average and the screenplay could have been a lot better. The background score was melodious but songs were not that great. Cinematography was the saving grace to this film. Editing was very poor. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was neat. Prithviraj has come up with an involved performance so no problems with him. Baburaj was good, Chemban Vinod was upto the mark. Srinda Ashab was nice. Vijay Babu was moderate. Shammi Thilakan was standard. Jojet John was alright.

Conclusion:
Attempting a comedy is always fruitful but if it is not weaved in the right way then it turns out to be a disaster. The same seems to have happened here. The first half goes around with elements of humor, some drama and unexpected twists. The interval bang was alright and the second half failed to stick to the plot and drifted. The big hurdle to this film is the length which tested the patience. Though there were some good moments, the overall effect was not that appealing. At the box office, the film doesn’t have enough to sustain.
