Presentation:
The director has come up with a touching storyline and while the presentation was neat, the narrative was absorbing. The dialogues were well written. The script was familiar but the screenplay made it lot better. The background score was melodious and songs were worth watching. Cinematography was efficient. Editing was overall good. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was natural. Manju Warrier has made a very good comeback and her performance was appealing. Kunchacko Boban was superb. Amrita was apt. Kaniha was neat, Kunchan was alright, Sethulakshmy was standard. Others did their bit as required.

Conclusion:
Lately, a lot of films have been coming wherein the woman is shown as a suppressed human being and then she comes out with flying colors after she breaks the barriers. Such concepts work really well and the same happened here. The first half goes about with the protagonist being neglected and the interval bang shows the realization point. The second half is about how she bounces back. Well, this would strongly appeal to the female audience for obvious reasons. At the box office, success looks strong.

Bharatstudent verdict: Well made with fine performances
