Unable to adjust, he decides to escape from the jail and discovers a drainage line. There he meets Akbar (sunny) who is also escaping from the same route. Mosayile Kuthira Meenukal Malayalam Cinema Review
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative could have been better. The dialogues were apt. The script was above average but the screenplay had few hiccups. The background score was melodious and songs were alright. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was required during the second half. Costumes didn’t have much to do while the art department was realistic and natural. Asif Ali did a committed job and he scored at many places. Sunny Wayne got the best role and he made good use of it. Swathi was neat, Janani Iyer was expressive, Nishant was natural, Nedumudi Venu was matured, Jijoy was apt, Chemban Vinod was effective.
Mosayile Kuthira Meenukal Filem Review
It is one thing to come up with an interesting storyline and another to execute it in the right manner creating that interest. In this film, the first worked while the second was not that appealing. The film takes off on a good note and it layers the plot in the right manner. The interval bang was nice. The second half takes a different turn and more than the thriller aspect it gets into an emotional tone which pulls down the momentum. Still, the film had enough moments to keep the audience engaged. At the box office, the film will appeal to the thinking audience and it could be an average to above average grosser.
