Kadha Veedu Malluwood Movie Review
Story:
An interesting tale the story begins with Raaj Karthy (kunchacko) who is a filmmaker having a live-in relationship with Jeena (bhama). Since his parents are divorced, Raaj doesn’t believe in marriage but he decides to make a film and then get answers to his queries. In that process, he comes across different couples and different perspectives. Whether that changes his mind to marry Jeena or not forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was decent. The dialogues were sensible. The script was average but the screenplay was neat. The background score was melodious and three songs were worth watching. Cinematography was effective. Editing was crisp. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was apt. Kunchacko Boban carried out his role with ease and did well. Bhama was beautiful and natural. Kavya Madhavan was seductive. Rituparna was not used to her potential. Manoj K Jayan was moderate. Lal was natural, Mamukoya was apt. Others were alright.

Conclusion:
The film comes with an interesting tale on relationships and different views on that but then it is important to keep the juice of emotion intact for the interest to sustain. The first half goes about with elements of romance and some lighter comedy but the second half has few emotional drama and sentiment. The compilation of different stories is fresh. Overall, the film works to an extent due to star power and at the box office, it can be a profitable fare.

Bharatstudent verdict:
