Emmanuel Malluwood Movie Review
Story:
A simple tale the story is about Immanuel (mammootty) who is an ordinary person with not many ambitious thoughts. He is hardworking, sincere and has a beautiful wife (reena) along with a kid. Immanuel works at a book publishing house under a tough owner Joseph (Sunil Sugatha). But the publishing house closes one day and Immanuel is forced to take another job in an insurance company. However, his new boss Jeevan (fahadh) is more difficult to handle as he is practical with materialistic ambitions. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a simple kind of storyline and while the presentation was natural, the narrative was good. The dialogues were well written. The script was average and the screenplay was predictable. The background score was suitable to the moods and Cinematography was effective. Editing was required in few places. Costumes were rustic and looked neat while the art department was appealing. Mammootty has done these roles many times so it was a cakewalk for him. Reenu Matthews has got domestic sex appeal, she has potential. Fahadh was very good. Sunil Sugatha was standard. Nedumudi Venu was not used properly, same with Salim Kumar.

Conclusion:
At the onset, the storyline of the movie is quite familiar and many films have come like this but then it is the goodness quotient and the humane touch which scores well. The first half goes with the layering of the plot and how the dots are connected. The second half revolves around the drama and emotion angle. Overall, this is a film which is made for the family audience and those who want to see some goodness in the society. At the box office, this will be a decent grosser.

Bharatstudent verdict: Simple but sensitive and kind, recommended
