Prabhuvinte Makkal Malluwood Movie Review
Story: A social tale, the story begins with Siddhu (vinay fort) who is a bookworm and highly brilliant man. He is the son of the rich Prabhu (madhu). Prabhu also has an adopted son Mani (jijoy). Siddhu goes to Himalayas to learn Ashtanga Siddhi and returns home after eleven years. Meanwhile, Mani becomes a major atheist and Prabhu becomes a follower of one Haripanchana Baba (prakash). How both the young men join hands and deal with the issues in society forms the rest of the story.

Presentation: The director has come up with a practical storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was good in parts.  The dialogues were rational, the script was average and the screenplay was decent. Background score was nice and three songs were worth hearing. Cinematography was neat. Editing was required at few places. Costumes were apt while the art department was natural. Vinay Fort has carried out his role with elan, Jijoy was good, Madhu was moderate, Kalabhavan Mani made his presence felt, Aniyappan was good, Mani was efficient. Others didn’t have much scope.

Conclusion: The ideology clash between the believers and atheists has been on since ages but it is all about how the whole thing is narrated and how convincing it is. While the first half goes on a smooth note, the second half gets into some serious turns. The consistency in the film was missing and few scenes got dragged. But overall, this has been a good effort from the makers. At the box office, this would be an average to above average grosser.
Bharatstudent verdict: Offbeat film which could question few beliefs
