O Kadhal Kanmani Kollywood Movie Review
Aadi (dulquer) comes to Mumbai for his new job and he is a practical guy with no strings attached. He meets Tara (nithya) who is of the same mindset. Both have their career plans clearly but mutual understanding and connection brings them closer. They decide to live-in and make the most of it before they leave for their careers. As time passes, the bond grows and memories build. And the time comes when both have to follow their career goals. Do they do that or not forms the rest.

O Kadhal Kanmani Tamil Cinema Review
The director has come up with a contemporary romantic storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was quite absorbing. The dialogues were well written. The script was predictable but it is the screenplay which made the whole diference. The background score was loviginly melodious and three songs were worth watching. Cinematography was simply awesome. Editing was crisp. Costumes were well designed and trendy to suit the current fashion while the art department was artistic. Dulquer Salmaan was energetic enough and gave a balanced performance. Nithya once again gives a magical performance. Prakash Raj was subdued and made his presence felt. Leela Samson was good.  Prabhu Lakshman was apt. Others did their bit as required and added value.
O Kadhal Kanmani Filem Review
A love story has a very common plot but is the ability of the director to make it engaging and engrossing that proves his mettle. In this, the director has weaved a magic of sorts with the visual splendor and the right kind of emotional quotient. While he has shown the urban mindset of today’s generation in terms of live-in relationships, he has also respected the institution of marriage, love and lifelong commitment. The first half goes on a lighter note with elements of humor, romance and it breezes off smoothly. The interval bang was promising, the second half was filled with few twists and the last fifteen minutes were gripping. Mani Ratnam has bounced back successfully and stitched the romantic tale with the right kind of emotion and technical standards. Though it may not go much with the masses, it sure is going to be a winner with the class and multiplex audience. At the box office, this would be a good money spinner.
