Yevade Subramanyam Tollywood Movie Review
Story:
Subbu (nani) is a shrewd corporate employee in an MNC and he is also engaged to Ria (ritu varma), daughter of his main boss (nasser) and his life is set. But a business deal goes wrong and this puts Subbu in a tight spot. It is at this moment that his childhood friend Rishi (vijay) and another girl Anandi (malavika) come into the scene. Their arrival changes the entire life of Subbu and what happens from there forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an intriguing storyline and while the presentation was nice, the narrative was good in parts. The story is unusual and the script was having enough twists. But the screenplay could have been tighter. The background score was decent and songs were okay. Cinematography was the best among the lot. Editing was required a lot during the second half. Costumes were apt to the backdrop while the art department was natural. Nani gave a splendid performance and he rocked. Devarakonda Vijay was excellent and made his presence felt strongly. Malavika Nair was impressive. Ritu Varma was classy and elegant. Nasser was natural. Krishnam Raju was brilliant. Others didn’t get much scope.

Conclusion:
This is one those unusual storylines which Tollywood has not seen for a long time. However, offbeat concepts need a lot of energy and entertainment. In this movie, the first half goes about smoothly with elements of humor, some romance and drama. The interval bang was also nice but things didn’t go as expected in second half. The momentum got slow and some scenes were not that convincing. The entertainment quotient was quite less. Overall, this is a film which must be appreciated for its new thought and at the box office, this would appeal to the urban and offbeat audience so it could reach a profit zone.
