Mukunda Tollywood Movie Review
Mukunda (varun tej) is a talented, gutsy and a kind natured guy who is matured and his life goes around by helping his father in his family business. His best friend Arjun falls in love with a girl whose father is the brother of a municipal chairman (ravu ramesh) in the local village. In an attempt to protect Arjun from the chairman’s people, Mukunda decides to clash with the chairman directly. What happens from there forms the rest.
Mukunda Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a formula storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was good in parts. The story is quite predictable but the screenplay had some engaging moments. The background score was impressive and three songs are worth listening and watching. Cinematography was colorful. Editing was required during many critical places. The costumes were apt to the backdrop while the art department was natural and realistic. Varun Tej has given a confident act and if he can work on his dances, he would be good. Pooja Hegde is cute and she conveys a lot through her eyes. Prakash Raj was upto the mark. The real showstealer is Ravu Ramesh who was menacing and impact creating. Raghu Babu brought few smiles. Ali was not used to his fullest. Others did their bit as required.
Mukunda Filem Review
Coming up with a family entertainer that is mixed with some action and romance is a safe bet but it must be infused with the right kind of energy and emotional peaks to ensure audience likes it. In this film, the first half is somewhat smooth and has few elements of light humor, action and romance. The interval bang was interesting. The second half was filled with some sentiment, melodrama, action. The film could have worked if it had good pace and the entertainment quotient was higher. Overall, this is a film that would appeal to family audience to an extent and if word of mouth goes well it could reach the success mark at the box office.
