Yamaleela 2 Tollywood Movie Review
Yama (Mohan babu) comes to Manasarovar for some relaxation inside the water and he is followed by Chitragupta (brahmi). Concerned about his master’s absence, Chitragupta wants to search for him and in that process, he chances upon Krish (satish) an oncologist. There, Chitragupta gives Krish the Bhavishyavani and asks him to keep it safe till he returns. He also tells Krish not to open the book at any cost. But unable to control his curiosity, Krish opens the book. What happens from there forms the rest.
Yamaleela 2 Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with an entertaining storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was weak. The dialogues were okay. The script was average and the screenplay was mediocre. The background score was alright and two songs were worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was upto the mark. Costumes were well designed to suit the situations while the art department was majestic. Locations and graphics were fabulous. Satish has a long way to go if he really wants to be a hero, he needs a lot of training and grooming. Diah Nicholas was cute and she did her role as required. Mohan Babu was graceful and nice. Brahmanandam gave some energy. Ashish Vidyarthi was entertaining, Sayaji Shinde was standard, Kota was cool. Others did their bit as required.
Yamaleela 2 Filem Review
This is more like a second edition to the super hit movie ‘Yamaleela’. However, there is a stark difference. In part one mother sentiment was the plot, part two has child sentiment. In part one, Ali is shown as a normal guy and it was very convincing. For his fight he gets Bruce Lee’s spirit which works. In the second part, Yama’s powers are given to hero which is not established strongly. Similarly, part one had Tanikella Bharani’s role as Thota Ramudu which was a highlight. In second part, it is not there. The only two reasons the film was watchable was the expectation of seeing something entertaining like the first part and Brahmi-Mohan Babu combination. Otherwise, the film doesn’t really have much to get engaged. At the box office, it might score points for the visual appeal but other aspects fail to impress so success is doubtful.
