Current Theega Tollywood Movie Review
Raju (manoj) is a streetsmart guy in a village and he has a crush on Sunny (sunny leone), a teacher. He wants to convey his feelings to Sunny through Kavitha (rakul) daughter of the village elder Sivarama Raju (jagapathi babu) who is strictly against love marriages. However, Sunny doesn’t reciprocate and instead Kavitha falls for Raju. At one point, even Raju also falls in love with Kavitha. How does that happen and whether Sivaramaraju accepts this or not forms the rest.
Current Theega Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a commercial storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was good in parts. The dialogues were well written. The script was familiar but the screenplay made it better. The background score was melodious and three songs were worth listening and watching. Cinematography was colorful. Editing was upto the mark. Costumes were well designed to suit the native backdrop while the art department was apt. Manchu Manoj has once again proved his versatility in dialogue delivery and in fights. Rakul Preet is not only cute but very sexy and expressive. Jagapathi Babu did his bit as required. Sunny Leone oozed her oomph wherever required. Prithvi was hilarious. Vennela Kishore was adequate. Pavitra Lokesh was graceful. Tanikella was brief but good. Others didn’t get much scope.
Current Theega Filem Review
Even if the storyline is familiar and on beaten track, if the treatment is proper with the right kind of commercial elements, the film works. This seems to be the case with this movie. The first half goes about with elements of comedy, some romance and some fights. The interval bang was promising and the second half had its share of lighter moments along with some action and melodrama. Overall, this is a film which would run among the masses for its masala and the fights. At the box office, this could land into a profit zone.
