Autonagar Surya Tollywood Movie Review
Surya (naga chaithanya) grows on the streets of autonagar with a mechanic and has a passion for automobiles. He commits a murder during his teenage and goes to jail. Eventually he returns to the same Autonagar but things have changed. A mafia in the name of union comes up and fleeces money from people. It is led by the Mayor (murali) and his corporator Indra (jayaprakash reddy). Surya also has a love interest in Siri (samantha). He decides to go against the system and what happens from there forms the rest.
Autonagar Surya Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a powerful storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was engaging in parts. The dialogues were well written but got a bit verbose at few places. The script was predictable but the screenplay made it better. The background score was not in sync and songs were disappointing. Cinematography was upto the mark. Editing was required at many places. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was realistic. Naga Chaithanya had a wonderful opportunity to portray the powerful character but his act was just alright. Samantha did her cute stuff and left. Murali is a revelation, he was excellent in his expressions and performance. Jayaprakash Reddy was good, Nandu made his presence felt. Saikumar underplayed his role but contributed well. Raghu Babu was funny, Brahmi was okay. Others did their bit as required.
Autonagar Surya Filem Review
It is always important to come up with message oriented films with a tinge of leftist ideology and if it is packed with some entertainment and romance it is better. An attempt like that has happened here and it must be said that this was not fully successful. The first half was busy with elements of romance, some action and some drama. The interval bang was okay and the momentum picks up in the second half. The ending was a little abrupt but few scenes had some brilliance. If only the length was trimmed and some emotion was developed in key sequences, the film would have gone to a new level. At the box office, this might be an average grosser.
