Mr. Pellikoduku Tollywood Movie Review
A remake tale the story begins with Buchi Babu (sunil) who owns a boutique in the US and comes to India on holiday and also to get married. In their bride search, the family goes to Rajahmundry and meets the family of Anjali (isha). Though everyone is fine, Anjlai has some issues and she is more of a tomboy. Buchi Babulikes Anjali instantly and feels she is the right one for him. But Anjali shows her true colors and makes it clear it wont work out. The story takes a turn when Buchi Babu goes to Kerala for attending a friend’s wedding and Anjali comes there. What happens after that forms the rest of the tale.
Mr. Pellikoduku Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a remake storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was a letdown. The dialogues were good at places. The script was mediocre and the screenplay was not impressive at all. The background score was another disappointment and all songs were just average. Cinematography was neat. Editing was required during the second half. Costumes were well suited while the art department was apt. Sunil has given a decent performance and he did his best. Isha Chawla looks seductive and sweet, she was alright. Ali was funny in few instances. Vincent was good in personality and looks but his voice didn’t suit. Ahuti Prasad was regular, M S Narayana was brief, Dharmavarapu brought few smiles, Tulasi was elegant. Others didn’t have much to offer.

Mr. Pellikoduku Filem Review
The film is the remake of the Bollywood movie ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ which was a big hit. However, it was clear that the remake was nowhere near the original due to its weak direction and screenplay. The first half is somewhat okay and sets an average experience. The interval bang was interesting but then the graph falls during the second half due to some silly comedy and unwanted scenes. Overall, this is a film which is rich in production values but not that good in terms of direction or offering entertainment. At the box office, this is likely to be a below average fare.
