Chammak Challo Tollywood Movie Review
A boring tale, the story begins with Kishore (srinivas) who is looking for a good love subject to prove his skills as a director. He chances upon a college lecturer Apparao (sayaji) and Apparao begins to share a love story at his college. This is between Shyam (varun) and Anshu (sanchita) and how Apparao is a cause for triggering love in them. College is over, they get engaged and Shyam gets job and moves to Bangalore. There he meets Sunaina (catherine) and what happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Chammak Challo Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a somewhat interesting subject and while the presentation was below average, the narrative was a letdown.  The dialogues were normal without any strength. The script was well written but the screenplay was exceedingly slow, especially in the first half. The background score was horrible and only two songs were good. Cinematography was neat.  Editing was required at many places. Costumes were youthful and stylish while the art department was appealing. Varun Sandesh was disappointing and some places he looked very bad, he needs to work a lot on his acting quotient. Sanchita Padukone is a bad choice for heroine both in terms of looks and performance. The only saving grace for the film is Catherine Tresa, she was stunningly hot and very sexy. Vennela Kishore was outstanding. Srinivas Avasarala deserves more, he is a good talent. Sayaji Shinde was standard. Brahmaji was a misfit, Surekha Vani was sensuous as usual.
Chammak Challo Filem Review
Coming from a high caliber director like Neelekanta the expectation is high on this movie but then it doesn’t really have that kind of material to be entertained. The first half is very boring and it drains out the energy, some of the situations were silly. But the second half was total opposite and had some pondering moments, basically the audience were kept busy. Overall, this is a film which could have worked if the pace was good and the lead pair was someone else. At the box office, it would be a below average fare.

Bharatstudent verdict: Routine subject, could have been much better
