Naayak Tollywood Movie Review
An entertaining tale, the story begins with Cherry (Charan) who lives in Hyderabad and his uncle Jalebi (Brahmanandam) gets into a small trouble. Cherry decides to resolve that and in this process he meets Madhu (Kajal), sister of a big don (Rahul Dev). The don decides to kill Cherry but he along with his gang are shocked when they witness something. On the other hand, in Kolkata a corrupt minister Rawat (Pradeep Rawat) is looking for someone who is killing his men and even attempts to assassinate him. One CBI officer (Ashish) gets into hot pursuit and all directions lead to Cherry. But is Cherry the same that all are looking for? Why is Rawat’s life in danger? All this forms the rest of the story.
Naayak Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a predictable storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was good in parts.  The dialogues were well written, the script was average and the screenplay was neat. The background score was stale and songs were a letdown.  Cinematography was masterly.  Editing was crisp. Costumes were stylish and trendy while the art department was appealing. Ram Charan got good role to perform but he underplayed it with sober approach. Kajal Agarwal is looking very sexy and she gave a visual feast. Amala Paul did her bit as required. The real show stealers were Brahmanandam, Jayaprakash Reddy, Posani and M S Narayana. They brought in the much needed fun and energy to the film. Ashish Vidyarthi was decent. Pradeep Rawat was good. Others didn’t have much to do.
Naayak Filem Review
The film has come in with a lot of expectations and many thought this would be like ‘Stalin’ ‘Tagore’ and more social oriented. But the director didn’t do such experiments and stuck to comedy and entertainment. The first half was just alright and it doesn’t pick up till the interval but the second half changes the whole swing. Overall, this is a film which will not only satisfy Charan fans but also provide good entertainment and humor. At the box office, success is very strong.

Bharatstudent Verdict: A wholesome formula entertainer with good comedy
