Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum Tollywood Movie Review
Story: A thought provoking tale, the story begins with B.Tech Babu (rana) who is practical, self-centered and wants to go abroad to settle his life. He is currently working in a drama troupe run by his old mentor (Kota). Both have ideology clash as his mentor believes that art is to reform society. The mentor passes away and his ashes are to be dumped at his native village. Babu comes there and few incidents take place which make him go through an introspection. He also falls in love with Devika (nayan) an investigative journalist who does a documentary on mining mafia led by Reddappa (milind gunaji). What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum Telugu Cinema Review
Presentation: The director has come up with a thinking storyline with a social message and while the presentation was alright, the narrative was partly engaging.  The dialogues were excellent, the script was effective but the screenplay was moderate. Background score was good and three songs were nice.  Cinematography could have been better during action sequences. Editing was okay. Costumes were well designed and natural while the art department was neat. Daggubati Rana has improved in comparison with his earlier films but he has to work harder. Nayantara is enticing, as long as she is there onscreen there is nothing much we need. Milind Gunaji was nice but didn’t have strength in his character. Brahmi was boring. Murali Sharma made his presence felt. L B Sriram was valuable. The others did their bit as required and added value.

Conclusion: The backdrop for the subject was very well chosen and to an extent, the director succeeded in conveying it. While the first half was quite promising and showed good material the second half went down and could not carry the same momentum. The climax was rather stale. Overall, this is a film which is meant for mature audience and those who like to see society oriented films. At the box office, this would be an average to above average grosser.
Bharatstudent verdict: Excellent concept, good message, can be watched
