Story:

A tale of power and greed, the story begins with the killing of a leader and his key follower Loki (saikumar) is made to take his place. He is also told to take care of the leader's wife and two kids so he marries her. The son Mitra (sharwanand) follows Loki at every step and while Loki becomes MLA, Mitra becomes the youth leader. However, this does not go well with Loki's own son Chinna (sandeep) and he is a typical hot blooded guy filled with power and pride. But he is keen on entering politics and feels insecure. This state of mind leads him to one mistake after another and this leads to a major turmoil in the family. In all this, Mitra discovers a shocking truth and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a powerful storyline and he has padded it well with his presentation and narrative. The dialogues were mind blowing, the script was impressive and the screenplay was effective. Background score was terrific and four songs were worth taking home. Cinematography is brilliant, editing was neat. Costumes were apt and the art department was convincing. Sharwanand does his bit well and does justice, Sandeep is a sensation, he must be watched out for in the future as he has given an intense and enchanting performance. Sai Kumar was splendid, he has shown the right kind of body language for his role, Jeeva was effective, Jayaprakash Reddy gave the right dose of humor, Ruby was there for the songs only, Vennela Kishore was disappointing, Reshma was exotic, she must be given more chances, Ghosh was good, the others did their bit as required and added a lot of value.

Conclusion:
The film is a serious and intense political thriller, while the first half goes off very well and looks promising, it is the second half that slows down a bit due to dragging scenes and unwanted songs, this has lengthened the film. The technical values of the film are quite strong and the content part is really heavy. The director has shown lot of substance as well as intellectual thoughts with a dose of philosophy in it. Overall, the film will run well at the B and C centers while the serious cinema lovers will like it at the A centers. It is a rather complex film so for those who are looking for fun and mindless entertainment, this is not the one.

Bharatstudent Verdict : Strong and intense, recommended
