Story:

A tale of confusion than twists, the story begins with a group of pretty college going girls who are all happy go lucky and take life as it comes. They are working as RJs at a famous Club FM 94.3 channel and during the night, they become the party animals. They call themselves the 'Red Chillies' and are fun lovers. Their lives change on the New Year's night when they emerge in a rather sloshed position and much to their shock discover that there is a man found murdered in their regular hangout. He happens to be a gigolo and to add to the woes, a group of activists who are sleeping in a shack are reported to be run over by a car. It appears that all fingers are pointing towards the girls and in comes the man himself, OMR ( Mohanlal) all the way from Singapore and his job is to find out the truth. Things begin to unravel but what OMR does not realize is that he is getting into something unwanted and scary before he realizes. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:

The director came up with an interesting storyline but he scored poorly in the narration and presentation department. The dialogues are dull, the script had many loose ends, the screenplay was meek. Music did not have much to hold and the cinematography was just about tolerable. Editing could have been better at many instants and the art department was way below the mark. Mohanlal did his best to salvage the film but in vain, out of the girls about two of them were pretty and the rest will have to bank on their performance only which was weak. Despite the presence of some senior stars, nothing could happen in this one.

Conclusion:

The film could have turned out to be an interesting suspense thriller but the poor handling of the script and the weak etching of the plot has proved to be the mess. While the first half goes about with the regular elements of fun and entertainment, things change just before the interval and the arrival of Mohanlal fails to brighten the dull shades. The film will find it difficult to make it to the success mark. So yet another debacle from a the superstar camp.
