Vastadu Naa Raju Tollywood Movie Review
A time pass tale, the story begins with Venky (vishnu) whose goal in life is to become a kickboxing champion. He doesn't believe in love and thinks that it is time waste and money waste. His life takes a turn when he is targeted by Narasimha (prakashraj), a dreaded goon who is aspiring to become an MLA. Narasimha is under the impression that Venky is in love with his sister Pooja (taapsee). On the other hand, he also commits to the wedding of Pooja with Ajay (ajay), son of Home Minister. How does that misunderstanding occur? Are Venky and Pooja really in love? What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Vastadu Naa Raju Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was nice, the narrative was adequate. The dialogues were apt, the script was written with conviction but the screenplay could have been better. Background score was good and songs were the highlight. Cinematography is good but was dim at few places. Editing was okay but it could have been sharp at the required places. Costumes were trendy while the art department was rich. Manchu Vishnu has to work on his physique and dialogue delivery a great deal, he looks sick and lacking energy. Taapsee was appealing and she has the right mix of beautiful looks and sex appeal which gives a feast to the audience. Prakashraj was good as usual and grabs attention. Brahmanandam does his bit as required. Tanikella was matured, Tulasi was neat, Sathya Krishnan makes her presence felt. Surekha Vani looks sensuous, Ajay's potential was not used rightly. Siva Reddy, Satyam Rajesh, Bobo Sasi were there to fill the gaps. Jeeva was usual.
Vastadu Naa Raju Filem Review
The film comes across as a decent attempt to give entertainment given the fact that this is a debut attempt from the director. While the first half was a bit jerky due to technical hiccups and weak direction, it picks up right before the interval. The second half has the actual punch and though it got dragged at few instances, overall it gave a good feel. The film as such justifies its genre and has the required ingredients for keeping the audience busy. At the box office, this will land in safe zone.
Bharatstudent Verdict: Breezy entertainer, can be watched once
