Pista Tollywood Movie Review
An outdated tale, the story begins with Murali Krishna (vishal) who is a rough necked guy from the Ramachandrapuram village and is not afraid of anything. He has only one objective in life and that is to locate his elder brother who has run away from home during childhood and get him back to make his mother happy. Murali comes to Vizag and there he meets the beautiful and sexy Indu (Shriya). Meanwhile, a twist of events happens and Murali ends up having issues with Surya Prakash (Prakashraj) and Guru (kishore) the two most notorious gangsters in the city. Meanwhile, the search for his brother continues and whether Murali is successful in locating him, who is his brother and what he is upto, all this forms the rest of the story.
Pista Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a rotten and old storyline and as expected, while the presentation is alright, the narrative lacked the depth. The script did not have enough strength, the screenplay was mediocre. Music was a major letdown and cinematography made up for the drawbacks. The art department did a fine job and the costumes were apt, editing could have been better. Vishal has done such performances before so there is nothing new he could offer, instead he also needs to focus on putting on a stress when it comes to serious dialogue delivery, Prakashraj did full justice to his role, Kishore was equally neat, the real show stealer and surviving factor for this movie is Shriya who has cast her spell with her glamour all over. The comedy track of Krishna Bhagawan was dull while Ali managed few laughs. Tanikella was grossly underutilized and the others just came and went.
Pista Filem Review
The film comes across as one of those typical formula movies which have four fights, five songs, two romance scenes, two sentiment scenes and three comedy sequences. All this jumbled together made up for 'Pista'. While the first half goes about with the regular comedy track and the shades of romance, the real story begins not until the strike of the interval bell, the second half goes about with the sentimental twist and the ensuing fights by which time the audience knows what is going to come next. One fails to understand why Vishal and his brother are failing to look beyond what they did in their earlier movies. Overall, a treat for the mass audience but those who want to see Shriya will be completely satisfied.

Bharatstudent Verdict : Old and stale, nothing special.
