Brahmigadi Katha Tollywood Movie Review
Story :
An alright tale, the story begins with Siva (varun sandesh) who is travelling in a train to reach Hyderabad. During the journey, he comes across Maya (asmita) and discovers that she has escaped from her home. He helps her out with ticket but once he reaches Hyderabad, he finds that she is gone. Siva reaches his rich uncle's (jayaprakash reddy) home who is an aspiring producer. On the other hand the uncle's daughter (poonam kaur) is desperately in love with Siva. The story takes a turn with the arrival of Brahmi (brahmanandam) a noted director who comes to narrate a story to Siva's uncle. Interestingly, whatever he narrates that happens for real with Siva and Maya. As part of the story, Brahmi reveals Maya is a killer. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation :
The director has come up with a different storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative could have been better. The dialogues were witty at many places, the script was good but had few visible flaws while the screenplay was alright. Background score was good in parts and songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography was apt. Editing was sharp but few scenes got jumped. Costumes were trendy while the art department was adequate. Varun Sandesh did his bit as required so not much from him. Asmita looks sizzling hot and she has enough oomph to become a glamour doll but acting is weak. The real show stealers were the duo of Brahmanandam and Jayaprakash Reddy with their impeccable timing and dialogue delivery. Krishnudu deserves special praise for his efforts. Poonam Kaur was okay. Nagineedu was not matching. The others did their bit as required.

Conclusion :
The film seems to have taken an inspiration from the film 'A Film By Aravind' and despite having a good potential of scoring comedy, the director failed to give that punch. While the first half takes off on an interesting note till the interval bang, the second half gets repetitive and the weakest point is the climax. Overall, the film is good in parts and it will appeal to those who like comedy without thinking. This could be an average grosser.
