Babloo Tollywood Movie Review

A regular tale, the story is about Babloo (manotej) a student who believes in helping those in need. In one such encounter, he gets into a fight with the dreaded Veerabhadra (ahuti prasad) and his nephew Gaja (mukul dev). With danger to his life, Babloo goes to a village to his friend's place. There he chances upon Pooja (aditi) and it is love at first sight for him. However, though he manages to become friends with her, the story takes a turn when Babloo discovers that Pooja is the daughter of Veerabhadra. On the other hand, Veerabhadra gets to know about Babloo. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Babloo Telugu Cinema Review

The director has come up with a predictable storyline and while the presentation was okay, the narrative was outdated. The dialogues were stale, the script was usual and the screenplay was just average. Background score was nice but songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography was good. Editing was required during many situations. Costumes were stylish while the art department was natural and lively. Manotej comes up with a confident performance but he should work on his expressions, Aditi Sharma looks chirpy and she has an unusual sex appeal in her eyes. Ahuti Prasad was matured, Mukul Dev was mean as usual. The real life to the movie was the presence of Ravu Ramesh, Satya Krishna, Surekha Vani along with Brahmi, Ali, Krishna Bhagawan. They gave good punch with their comedy.

Babloo Filem Review

The film got a lot of attention given the huge publicity and aggressive promotion from the makers. However, there is nothing different about the story and while the first half is a bit boring with the regular elements, the second half gets some momentum. More than the lead cast, the film gains strength from the padding artistes and the film becomes watchable. At the box office, this will turn out to be a below average grosser.
Bharatstudent verdict:  Routine, nothing great!!
