Prince Sandalwood Movie Review
Story:
An action packed tale, the story begins with Vishnu (darshan), an ad maker and he falls in love with his colleague Anjali (nikitha) and they get married. He grows in his business and moves into a big home. However, the story takes a turn when Vishnu is attacked by police as they mistake him to be a terrorist. In this process, he is also cheated by his lawyer and eventually, he gets convicted falsely. Anjali takes the help of Priti (jennifer) and arrange for a parole. Coming out, Vishnu takes a new form as Rajakumara and begins to dig the truth. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a thought provoking storyline and while the presentation was magnificent, the narrative was impressive. The dialogues were charged up, the script was alright and the screenplay was okay. Background score was alright but only one song was good and picturized well. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was crisp. Costumes were different and perfect while the art department was rich and appealing. Darshan has come up with a stylish performance and he is versatile in his performance. Nikitha looks sizzling and seductive despite her domestic role. Jennifer Kotwal gives visual feast to the masses. Ramesh Bhat was regular, Suchendra Prasad was standard, Avinash was apt, Shobaraj brought few smiles, Rekha was regular, Sangeetha was simple.

Conclusion:
The film happens to be the remake of the Telugu movie Shock and though the original was not much of a success, the remake might be working. Basically, it is the stylish presentation and the right amount of glamour quotient that satisfies the front benchers. While the first half is on the lighter mode with romance, comedy things change before the interval. The second half gets serious and action packed. Overall, this is a film with good commercial elements and fans of Darshan will like it. At the box office, it will land in a profit zone.
