A masala action potboiler, the story is about Shivu (Puneet) a happy go lucky and a cheerful person, who is a small time pick-pocket earning his livelihood doing petty things and majorly by selling cinema tickets in black. In comes Preethi (Hansika) the beautiful girl who happens to be the daughter of ACP Rathod (Nasser) and Shivu falls flat for her at the first sight. From then on, he comes up with ways and means to get her attention and thereby win her heart but as expected she discards him at every instant. This hate first relationship takes a turn when Shivu gives him a cover and challenges that she would open it which would testify her love for him. Preethi gets it back claiming she has won but gets caught with an intelligent move by Shivu. Finally, the love is admitted between the two and now Shivu has to get a job if he has to impress ACP Rathod. Meanwhile, the cop has already got his tabs on his darling daughter and gets to know of the affair. He offers Shivu the job of a police informer and sets him on an undercover assignment and sends him to the base of the baddies to locate the dreaded terrorist Saleem who was responsible for some major bombings. Shivu does his job with perfection but then Rathod fails to fulfill his promise and separates Preethi from Shivu. This enrages the hero and he takes the law into his own hands to put an end to all this. What happens due to this? Is he successful in getting back Preethi? All this forms the rest of the story.

Rajendra Babu has come out with a typical masala entertainer with the required amount of love and action in proportions. The narration was acceptable and the presentation of the subject did not require any expertise as it was a well laid path before hand. Music has generated two good numbers and the main credit goes to the camera department for having captured the outdoor locations in an excellent fashion. Even the fight scenes were taken well. Editing could have been better and the costume selection for Puneeth needs to be improved. Other departments were okay with their work. Puneet has come up with a good performance and his transition from a cheerful take it easy person to a violent individual is good. He has also impressed with his dance and stunts in many places. Hansika was the right choice for the role and gave the required sweetness with her debut effort in Kannada. Her smile is killing and her eyes would flutter any hard heart. Nasser carried out his role as a cop, Rahul Dev could have been utilized more effectively. The others gave their roles proper performance.

A safe path taken by the film makers by putting in required elements of love and following it up with heavy dose of action, the first half of the film keeps the audience busy with the creative ways of proposing to a girl which will impress many of the youngsters and the second half gets very serious with some hard hitting violence and brutal bashing clean up task. The film will finds its appeal in the mass audience to a great deal and success tag can be given if repeat audience come in.

Bharatstudent verdict : Proper love action thriller, worth watching for the masala offered!!
