PayBack Bollywood Movie Review

Story
A one night tale, the story is about Kunal (munish) who is in love with Ishita (sara). One night, he meets with an accident and while he is on the verge of dying, he is rescued by a stranger Raghu (zakir hussain) and admitted into the hospital. Three months pass by and one day Kunal comes across Raghu and invites him home. The story takes a turn when Raghu ends up with a bullet shot and Kunal discovers that Raghu is actually a contract killer. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a gripping storyline and he has packed it well with good presentation but the narrative was not upto the mark. The dialogues were strict but the script had loopholes at places. The screenplay was poor. Background score was catchy and the one song was peppy. Cinematography was jerky. Editing was good. Costumes didn't have much to do but the art department was rich. Munish Khan was moderate and did his bit, Sara Khan didn't have much to offer, Zakir Hussain was riveting, Gulshan Grover was good, Mukesh Tiwari was nice, Hrishikesh Joshi was impressive.

Conclusion:
The film opens like a thriller and it came up with a good storyline but then it didn't have the required script work and writing to give that punch. While the first half is good and looked promising, the second half failed to deliver the suspense and tests the patience of the audience in few scenes. Overall, this is a good attempt to keep the audience engaged and it could have done better if the script was held tightly. At the box office, word of mouth publicity will have a key role to play.
