Hello Darling Bollywood Movie Review
A stale tale, the story begins with three girls - Candy (celina), Mansi Joshi (gul) and Satvari (eesha) who are colleaguest at work in Mumbai and also good friends. They come from different walks of life and are working in a posh place but there is trouble. This is in the form of their boss Hardik (javed), a highly smart man and also an addicted playboy good with women. Now, the three ladies have to use their wits and instincts to ward off the possible advances from Hardik. Whether they are successful or not forms the rest of the story.
Hello Darling Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with what could have been a hilarious tale but though the presentation was nice, the narrative was a letdown. The dialogues were not funny, the script was not well written and the screenplay was average. Background score was just okay and songs were a disappointment. Cinematography is the saving grace. Costumes were glamorous, art department was apt. Jaaved Jaaferi was good but he could have been better, Celina was convincing, Eesha was a misfit, Gul was the best among the lot. Seema Biswas was hilarious and impact creating. Sunny came and went, Chunky was not used to the fullest, Divya was decent, Asawari Joshi was apt, Mukesh was wasted, same with Vrajesh. The others were hardly there.
Hello Darling Filem Review
The thought of the story was quite interesting but executing it on the silver screen requires talent that was missing. While the first half was okay with some good moments, things go bad in the second half and the various attempts to make the audience laugh looks childish and amateur. The key weakness in the film is the writing and since the plot was predictable, a lot was resting on it. At the box office, the openings will be good but not for long.
